Abbaee Wang Soondae, nestled in Buena Park, CA, is a haven for lovers of authentic Korean cuisine, particularly known for its delectable soondae, or Korean blood sausage. This cozy yet casual restaurant has garnered a loyal following, with patrons often praising the freshness of its house-made soondae, which is stuffed with a flavorful combination of ground meat, rice, noodles, and vegetables. Reviews highlight the thick, chewy texture of the soondae, which many agree is crafted with skill, creating a satisfying dining experience. Customers like Sean Kim and Lovely Wendy rave about its authenticity, while others, like Jay Rue, acknowledge that despite minimalist service, the quality of the food makes it worthwhile. The menu also boasts a variety of other traditional dishes such as fried spicy chicken, boiled pork slices, and Korean sausage stew, each contributing to a comforting dining experience. However, the bustling atmosphere can complicate dine-in visits, as noted by multiple reviewers who mention difficulties with service during peak hours. Nevertheless, the allure of freshly made soondae and other Korean staples makes Abbaee Wang Soondae a must-visit for anyone seeking genuine Korean flavors in a casual setting.

I have been coming to this restaurant for more than 15 years and nothing has changed. Their menu is extremely simple. Always predictable - which includes little amount of service by the male owner. Lot of times, I have to help myself to a water refill. But I put up with mediocre service because their blood sausage is very traditionally korean. And because they make it on site, it's usually really fresh. I would recommend this restaurant if you want to try soondae(blood pork sausage), but dont expect personally attentive service.

Small Korean place that's kinda cozy but super casual. Lots of people coming in and out for pickup orders, which makes it hard to enjoy dining in tbh. Gets pretty busy at the counter! Been here twice for their soondae (Korean blood sausage). The assorted soondae plate is really good - nice chewy texture and they make it fresh. Love how they add veggies! Also tried their spicy pork Makchang but wasn't a fan. The sauce was too sweet and the pork smell was slightly off. Parking's easy since it's in a small strip mall. Will definitely order their Soondae again!

Korean authentic soondae ever. Used to go to 8가순대 when craving for it but this place is much better!

This is a really good restaurant that doesn't miss out on sundae, pig's feet, or bossam. The sundae is a work of art, and it's cut thickly without any meaty smell, so it fills your mouth with joy. It's a great restaurant for Koreans, of course, and for foreigners who like Korean food. Even people who don't know Korean food will be able to enjoy it without any burden.

It is delicious. I think the soondae I tried near LA is the closest to traditional Korean soondae I am personally satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food.

Must try. The location is kind of isolated, so it's hard to miss the spot. If you like soondae, one of tops here. Good side dishes and good portion size of the food. Interior and exterior is outdated, but the food covers everything

My favorite SOONDAE place. I’m always ordering modum soondae. I prefer deep flavor soup but their Soondaetang (soup) was not that deep. Overall good soondae.
